How my story started

My story as a collector began back in 2010, with a moment I still remember vividly. That was the year I got my very first signed football shirt from KRC Genk, my favourite team. Holding that shirt felt like holding a piece of the club’s soul. It wasn’t just a jersey anymore; it was a memory, a connection, a spark that lit something inside me.

And once that spark was there, it didn’t take long before it grew into a real passion.
Over the years, my collection expanded one signature at a time. A signed Barcelona shirt joined the ranks, carrying the weight of a club that shaped football history. Then came Bayer Leverkusen, Anderlecht, and others — each shirt with its own story, its own moment of excitement.

But I didn’t stop at football. Cycling pulled me in as well, and suddenly my collection wasn’t just about teams; it was about legends. I added Philippe Gilbert, Greg Van Avermaet, Tadej Pogačar, Tim Wellens, and many more. Each autograph felt like a small handshake with greatness, a reminder of the athletes who inspired me.

Every shirt I collected became a chapter in my own story. Some came easily, others took patience or luck. And along the way, I learned that collecting isn’t always straightforward. It can be surprisingly difficult to distinguish real signatures from fake ones. I’ve spent plenty of time comparing ink strokes, checking authenticity, and trusting my instincts. Sometimes doubt creeps in, but the thrill of the hunt always wins.

Because for me, this hobby isn’t just about the signatures themselves. It’s about the journey — the excitement, the memories, the connection to the sports and athletes I admire. My collection is a timeline of my passion, and it keeps growing, one signature at a time.
